All plant starters are grown without sprays or pesticides of any kind. I use Dairy Doo organic seed starting mix for the soil and will use natural fertilizers as needed (fish emulsion, bone meal, blood meal, etc). I use all Certified Organic seeds as well.
Once you’re ready to order, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. I’ll need to know your information along with which plants you’d like and how many of each. Once I receive your email, I’ll send a confirmation email with your total balance. The balance must be paid in full up front. I take payment through Venmo or Zelle. Delivery of plants is free within 10 miles of Grand Rapids. If you’re outside of the 10 mile window, we can arrange porch pickup or you can pay a $5 delivery fee and I can deliver to you.
The cutoff date for all preorders is March 4th.

Basil - Genovese
- A classic Italian basil, often used for making pesto. Has a sweet fragrance and is slow to bolt.
- Requires full sun
Chives - Common
- Adds a subtle onion flavor to every dish. Great for containers, can grow year round indoors.
- Requires full sun
Cantaloupe - Hearts of Gold
- An heirloom variety that is extremely sweet. Grows 3lb fruits about 6in in diameter.
- Vines can grow up to 6ft long, so ample space is needed or can try to grow vertically. Requires full sun.
Marigold - Dark Orange
- Dark orange flowers that grow approx. 16” tall and 10” wide.
- Marigolds help with pest management in the garden. Requires full sun.
Watermelon - Blacktail Mountain
- 6-10lb watermelons with black skin and crisp, sweet flesh. Stores well.
- Vines can grow up to 10ft long, so ample space is needed or can try to grow vertically. Requires full sun.
Cucumber - Green 18 F1
- Highly productive cucumber with smooth, green skin and deliciously crisp. The perfect summer bite.
- Will need to trellis. Requires full sun.
Tomato - Costoluto Genovese
- An old Italian favorite. Intensely flavorful and attractively ribbed.
- Requires full sun
Tomato - Pruden’s Purple
- Large 12-16oz deep rose heirloom tomatoes. Has a distinctive flavor and silky texture.

Tomato - Indigo Apple
- Produces beautiful, 2-4oz slicer tomatoes with a jet black underside.

Tomato - Sweetie Cherry
- Super sweet red cherry tomatoes with high sugar content. A vigorous and reliable producer.

Tomato - Spoon
- A unique micro mini fruit, these might be the tiniest tomatoes to exist. They have a classic bold, tangy tomato flavor and pop when you bite into them.

Sweet Yellow Pepper - Golden Cal Wonder
- These sweet peppers start out green and ripen to a bright yellow with a blush of orange.
- Requires full sun
Sweet Purple Pepper - Iko Iko
- Purple and yellow peppers that can ripen to tangerine and red color. A high yield pepper.
- Requires full sun
Delicata Squash - Honey Boat
- The sweetest delicata squash. Fruit skins are bronze with green stripes instead of traditional yellow.
- Requires full sun and 4-6 square feet to grow.
Butter Lettuce - Mirlo
- Large, early green butterhead with excellent disease resistance.
- Ideal for spring/summer.
Kale - Lacinato
- A bumpy, dark green kale. It has strap-shaped leaves and are not curly like regular kale.
- Grows well in both heat and cold.
